Order a design with more than 4,999 amplicons

Designs with more than 4,999 amplicons cannot be ordered directly through Ion AmpliSeq™ Designer. You must download, then email the Standard Order Sheet (SOS) document for the panel to a Customer Service representative for help to place the order. For more information, see About Standard Order Sheet (SOS).

  1. Download the SOS document.

    Ion AmpliSeq™ or Ion AmpliSeq™ HD custom panels

    1. In the navigation bar, click My Designs, click AmpliSeq Custom or AmpliSeq HD Custom. then click Results Ready.

    2. In the row of the design of interest, click the link in the Design column.

    3. Click Generate SOS.

    4. In the Order options dialog box, select the instrument, then click Next.

      For Ion AmpliSeq™ HD designs or designs for the Genexus™ Integrated Sequencer, proceed directly to step 6.

    5. In the Library preparation format dialog box, select the Manual or Ion Chef™ format, then click Next.

    6. In the Format option dialog box, select Tubes of primer pools only or Tubes plus 384 well plates, then select special instructions, if any. Click Next.

    7. In the Order Preview screen, review the design configuration summary, then click Download SOS.

      The Standard Order Sheet (SOS) document is downloaded to the computer as a TXT file.

    Ion AmpliSeq™ Community Panel

    1. In the Ion Research Panels screen, click Generate SOS.

    2. In the Order options dialog box, select an instrument. If you selected Genexus™ Integrated Sequencer, proceed directly to step 5, otherwise proceed to the next step.

    3. In the Library preparation format dialog, select Manual or Ion Chef™, then click Next.

    4. In the Format option dialog, select Tubes of primer pools only or Tubes plus 384 plates, then click Next.

    5. In the Order Preview screen, review the design configuration summary, then click Download SOS.

      The Standard Order Sheet (SOS) document is downloaded to the computer as a TXT file.

  2. Email the SOS document to a Customer Service representative for help to place the order.
